"Coming from Disques Puzzle, an informal stamp-label from Lyon, France, made up of various artists, musicians and illustrators, Yirgah and Scalde formed Silex Cielo in 2002, a collective outfit reduced to two musicans.
At the border of their two own universes, they focused on the space between their own two musical ways, and with pencils and stars, they drawed the sound-landscape of Silex Cielo.
From calm and quietness, Silex Cielo combine sounds of silence with white noises, songs of birds with electronic roars, lethargic electricity of human voices with insect’s hypnotic cracklings.
After one year working in their laboratory in Lyon, Silex Cielo broadcast at last results of their experiences in the open air.
With this first album, airlock is opened."
